Is there Uber in Park City? The answer is yes & no. If you are staying in Park City, Deer Valley or the Canyons Ski Resorts for Sundance Film Festival,Group business meeting, a company meeting or a ski trip, and you have an early morning or late night flight out of Salt Lake City International Airport give yourself at the minimum a two hour leeway to get to the airport on time, and only if roads are clear.
The main problem with Lyft & Uber in Park City is the fact that Park City and Deer Valley are in a Mountain town that is about 30 minutes away from the saturated market of drivers that live in The Salt Lake Valley. We would say 90% of the time Uber and Lyft will surge price Park City and Deer Valley in order to persuade Independant drivers to this area. Most of the time, especially in harsh weather, you would be very lucky to get a RideSharing driver in this area. With that being said, Here at Hallutah.com we actually respect Uber & Lyft and there is a time and place for it. But we highly recommend using a Professional car service to and from Park City, Deer Valley, Alta or Snowbird and then back to the Airport. Why? It can cost a lot of your hard earned money by missing a flight because you didn’t have a pre-booked Airport Shuttle Service or Black Car Service scheduled before hand. Book your Airport Shuttle or Black Car Service with us before your Amazing trip to the Park City, Deer Valley or Big Cottonwood or Little Cottonwood Areas. It may cost a little more up front but nowhere near what it could cost in the end of not having a car or properly equipped vehicle before hand. We promise you won’t be let down & you’ll know you’re getting a great vehicle designed for the Utah Snow with a fully background checked professional driver behind the wheel. -Timothy Hall
